What is the Purity Quest?
PURITY is simply defined as: freedom from all sinful contamination.
QUEST is: an act of seeking to find or obtain something.
Thus the Purity Quest is the unwavering commitment to seek after freedom from all sinfulness in order to attain it and maintain it. This requires the purification of the heart, mind, body, and spirit by overcoming every moral impurity. Of course this is impossible to achieve by one’s own strength, however, it is possible through Jesus Christ. In fact, as Christians, the state of perfect purity is an obligation and a direct response to God’s perfectly pure love for us.
As you can see I’ve separated purity into six overlapping areas: Spiritual Purity, Biblical Purity, Mental Purity, Verbal Purity, Physical Purity, and Sexual Purity. You will find ample information on this site to assist you in learning how to achieve and maintain purity in each of these areas. Then you will be able to fulfill the command we find in Scripture, “Let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
Purity is Attainable for Everyone
It doesn’t matter where you begin your quest for purity, it matters THAT you begin the quest for purity. Don’t ever think that attaining purity isn’t possible for you because of your past. No matter what you’ve done or how many times you’ve done it, you’re not too broken to be fixed. So don’t believe the lie that you’re too far gone; you’re not! God loves you regardless of your condition, and He loves you enough to help you overcome your condition! All you have to do is make the decision to start and faithfully continue.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:7-8)

Who am I?
My name is Bruce Smith Jr., and I am one of many individuals who have set out on the journey to maintain a pure lifestyle based on God’s Word. I also aim to assist others in their quest for purity by sharing my successes and failures, and by bringing clarity to what is right and wrong in today’s society.
